This material is crushed stabilized obsidian and quartz. It is fused with copper creating a shiny metal color to the matrix.
Absolutely stunning and intriguing, this stone is crafted through a process that uses a hydraulic press and then injects molten copper through the obsidian and quartz pieces. Once the material is pressed or assembled it is stabilized to harden the stone. This unique process was created by the Arizona Kingman Mine. These earrings are one of a kind!
